Actually, it's better to exit PHP when rendering pure HTML because it avoids the PHP engine having to process the HTML when it's not necessary. How much difference does it make? I'm not sure, but I can read HTML as HTML a lot better than I can several lines of echo ...., which gets messy to maintain.

But yeah, it's taught as being better to exit PHP when outputting straight HTML.

I discoved your framework when looking at the source code of Twitter Widget Pro, an interesting idea. I think I agree with the others that it's possible got a little much in it. It does not seem to reduce the amount of code needed in the main class.

One thing that does seem to be lacking for wordpress developers is the display of the admin UI. All the examples I've seen are switching back and forth between PHP and HTML which can't be very efficient.

Hi Guys,

Like some of the other commenters on this post, I too am keen to see how this idea has progressed, but cannot seem to find any info on it on the sites.
Any plans to post on your developments since this was originally aired? Is the project still ongoing.

It did look so full of potential....

Cheers

I agree. It's exactly what I'm going through right now! It is especially problematic when people create complex plugins and mash html, css and php together. Mind bloggling task to debug

At the end I've came up with routes and router as well. And yes, my plugins are mostly very complex and without MVC or any other way of strict organization I tend to get lost in functions and files and spent most of my time and efforts keeping it my head.

True, it would only be needed for complex plugins like CRMs or similar. I made a router class - approaching a little different and put it up in a post on my blog.

You can have a look at it in the website above...
